couponing to groupon

After my triplets were born, I started couponing. I loved it and got really good at finding the perfect deal. At first, it was fun. Next thing I knew, my life was taken over by couponing. I was spending my entire Sunday mornings cutting and filing coupons, going to no less than 5 stores to collect my savings, and entering data onto complicated spreadsheets I created. Trust me, it was no longer fun. Not only that, most savings came from personal hygiene items, household cleaning products, makeup, and random products. Do I really need 18 woman’s deodorant every three months?

Digital Couponing is the Best!

Hauls just don’t fit my lifestyle anymore.

Don’t get me wrong, I still love love love to save money. Really, I love it now more than ever, because the triplets are bigger and they consume more. Of everything! Couponing shouldn’t suck up all my family time. My me time. My space. Now I use digital coupons as often as I can, matched with the best deals I can find, at the stores I’m already planning on going to. I find my biggest savings on Groupon! I love that because we’re talking big savings. It’s not just hygiene items. It’s places, things, events, electronics, automotive, and fun! It’s big-ticket household items, outdoor supplies, clothes. It’s everything! Everything. The numbers don’t lie! Groupon has already sold one billion! There is a special Billion Thanks sale right now! Almost of all my favorite stores have Groupon savings. Okay – Target lovers. Yes, even Target! How about saving up to 60% on things your favorite name brand clothing at 6PM.  Getting ready for Summer? Yea, I know — where did the time go?! Don’t wait until the last minute to get everything you need for vacation or your annual camping trip. Check out all these Gander Mountain deals!

Fellow blogger Melissa of momluck.com even found round-trip flights starting at just $38.00! Groupon even has their own Groupon coupon: $10 Off Your First Groupon* Enter code SAVE10 at checkout.

Mother’s Day is just around the corner!

I found Sterling Silver Filigree Ball Stud Earrings in 18K Yellow Gold Plating, for just $6.99 and these inside-out crystal hoops for just $9.99. That’s a 90% savings! And – are you ready for this? Tons of Starbucks deals!

I really encourage you to take some time on Groupon. If you are already a subscriber, don’t fool yourself into thinking there is a limit on savings, based solely on your inbox deals. While Groupon make pick some great deals to highlight for you, they can’t possibly list all their deals into a single email, so look around. Don’t pay retail again. Before you go out to your next dinner, weekend getaway, favorite mall store, to coffee with friends, or to the mechanic. Don’t do anything or go anywhere without checking out Groupon first. If you’re an on-the-go type, don’t worry. Groupon has an easy-to-navigate app!
