I have been a fan of 10 minute dinners since before I had kids, and that’s almost 20 years ago!
I wasn’t just throwing a hotdog on a bun, though! I was eating delicious meals. Every. Night.
Almost 20 years ago, I was working full-time, going to school, and always trying to get quality things on a budget. So, you’ve probably guessed, not much has changed. I’m always busy, forever watching my budget, but I like nice things. I especially like nice meals!
And, let’s be honest, cooking a restaurant-quality meal isn’t always an option.
That type of dinner takes a lot of time, too many pots and pans, and usually more money than I want to spend. Hello, Marie Callender’s DELIGHTS! These are delicious, affordable, and sensible meals, so there’s no guilt adding on a yummy dessert!
Recently, I bought home some Marie Callender’s meals from the freezer section in Walmart. When my husband saw them, he started to complain! Does he think I really have 2 hours to cook every day? Okay, yeah, he does – because I do it, all the time. I don’t want to do that every night, though. In fact, I just can’t. Especially right now, it’s the busiest time of the year, and I’m barely making it through the days. I can’t just whip up more time in the day. But, I can whip up delicious 10 minute dinners.
Anyway, I decided to call his bluff. So, while he was taking a nap, I cooked this Baked Turkey Meatloaf with Red Pepper Tomato Sauce, Balsamic Glazed Chicken with Harvest Vegetables, and a Dutch Apple Loaf Cake.
First, he said it was good. Then, he said it was really good. Then, he said it was really-really good!

Marie Callender’s® DELIGHTS™ Balsamic Glazed Chicken with Harvest Vegetables and Marie Callender’s® DELIGHTS™ Baked Turkey Meatloaf with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce
So, there you have it. Husband-approved. (that might not mean much to you if your husband is easy-to-please when it comes to mealtime, but mine isn’t! He’s ridiculously spoiled.) These meals are absolutely delicious, calorie-sensible, and perfect for busy nights of sports practices and just to feel pampered.
The loaf cakes are moist and satisfying! Right now you can SAVE $0.50 with Ibotta, HERE! So, next time you’re at Walmart, which I’m sure will be soon (holidays!!), be sure to pick up some of Marie Callender’s DELIGHTS and you’ll be glad you did!

There’s no shame in using a 10 minute meal hack like this when it looks and tastes so good- I love how much it looks like restaurant quality on a plate! I just love the baked turkey meatballs!
