I used to wait until Black Friday to do all my shopping for the entire year. The kids started to complain and feel left out, returning to school with their old stuff, while their friends were rockin new back to school everything! It’s not easy to shop on demand, with such a big family. You know, back to school, birthdays, holidays, and all the things we need to buy at this exact moment, throughout the year. I’ve been talking to all my friends about back to school shopping. My friends kept telling me to shop at Target for the kids backpacks, lunch sets, their desk supplies, and the rest of their back to school needs.
I was a little nervous when I headed to the store with the kids because I didn’t want to spend a fortune. Luckily, Target had my back with their #BTSwithTarget specials!
I found huge savings and unique styles. Everything I needed was so affordable, I was able to get enough stuff to donate to two local classrooms. I haven’t delivered supplies to the teachers yet. I’m planning a little surprise! For my own kids, I got backpacks, lunch sets, and the standard desk supplies.

I have to be a savvy shopper. It’s very rare when just one kid needs something. Most times, it’s five kids who need a bunch of things. That adds up, especially at back to school time! Now that summer is almost over, I’m starting to think about how much I’ll miss them, while they’re at school. I want to make sure they have everything they need to start the year off right! Getting just the right backpack, shoes, folder, or even pencils can make all the difference for kids. The right price can make all the difference for parents. Target gets that. That’s why their philosophy is, “every little thing is a really big deal!” And, they mean it!
