3. GPS Tracking
As most of my readers already know, my triplets have Autism. While I have worked to make sure the school, caregivers, family, and friends are extra-alert to prevent my children from eloping, it’s still one of my biggest fears. It also just gives me general peace-of-mind. When I’m working in the field, it’s nice to be able to quickly check that they are where they are supposed to be. That might be at home, the babysitters, with family, or at school, but it’s reassuring to know! Within the app, you can also allow another parent, family member, or friend to access the GPS tracking. This is a great feature, but not one I want everyone to have access to. I love that you have a choice and the default settings for a contact does not automatically grant this access.

One major flaw with the Gizmo Gadget. If the device comes out of the wrist band everything stops working.
in the instructions it says that it notifies you, it does not. and the GPS and phone do not work after it comes out so there really is no way to find it when your kid walks in and says it fell off at lunch.
I do not get an alert on my phone when I get a message from my son’s gizmo. I just have to check it periodically throughout the day. I’ve looked, but do not see how to turn the alerts on so that I hear a sound when I get a message. Is there a way to turn on the alerts.

That did not help. It does not explain how to get an audible notification sound when a child sends a message to the parent.
I am looking for something for my 91 year old father. This would allow us to track him (if necessary) and give him ability to call. How large is the band for the gizmo?
Unfortunately, these wristbands are child sized.
Just bought one for my 10 year old son for his Birthday. My ex-husband, his wife, and I can all track him, which we love about the Gizmo. I just wish we could choose which notifications we want to receive. We all get notified when he puts it on/off quiet mode, when he reaches fitness goals, etc. We don’t need/want to have all of those notifications. That’s my only complaint.
