HALO Bedside Bassinet

Last night,  I arrived home from a surprise visit to my sister Sarah and her family. Early on during my planning phase, I realized I didn’t have her current address. I had heard about  HALO®  and reached out to them to see if they would help me pull off my epic surprise.

Lucky for me, they agreed! I told my sister I would be sending her a bedside bassinet to help her put baby to sleep, and I sent her product links.

This allowed me to get her current address without any suspicion about my pending visit.

What I didn’t know at the time, is that she already had two other bassinets for their sleeeping area. They didn’t easily transport room to room. When she told me she needed one, I just assumed it was because she didn’t have one.

She had nice bassinets but they didn’t serve as a solution for co sleeping nor were they very accommodating for her C-Section recovery. One was full of laundry and the other was there just in case she needed to set my newest nephew, Giovanni, down for a moment.

One of the things we both loved about HALO’s bedside bassinet is that the side wall lowers so she could easily attend to him or get him when it was time to breastfeed without having to move from the bed! As many of us know., the three-hour-feeding-schedule is exhausting!

Sarah also has a small bedroom. She likes to use her space as efficiently as possible and that can be hard to do with a bedside bassinet. The HALO Bassinest glide sleeper fits beds 22 to 34 inches and the legs tuck under the bed.

The mesh sides provide maximum breathability and of course, peace of mind! There is even a side pocket for keeping all of baby’s essentials nearby. Personally, I love that more than the storage basket because I always ended up tossing diapers and wipes and everything else inside. It looked messy.

Sarah wanted safety, functionality, and efficiency. This was the perfect bedside bassinet to fit her needs! She didn’t have a bedside sleeper with her other babies.

Sarah wasn’t sure little Giovanni would enjoy sleeping in his new bedside bassinet, but he loved it!

Little Giovanni also loved the versatile HALO® SleepSack®. You can sleep baby with both arms in, both arms out, or one arm out/in. When he wasn’t sleeping, there was a line to hold him, and I was first! I love this bassinet!
