I grew up on the East Coast and I could always find an outdoor ice skating rink in the Winter. One might not think that ice skating would be a big deal in California, but I think Kristi Yamaguchi and others can tell you that’s a myth! Especially in the Bay Area, we love ice skating. You have to take the kids! Never going ice skating is almost like never learning to ride a bike or swim. I should confess, I don’t know how to swim, and that’s just awful! Lace up those skates (or you can rent some) and head on over to The Little Ice Rink in Alameda for some family fun! Don’t pass up the opportunity to make some of the best slipping and sliding memories, ever!
This year the ice rink is located in the parking lot near PetCo.
South Shore is excited to have the opportunity to work with Perforce again! Panera Bread will be serving hot drinks and pastries on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
