I love all of my children, equally and wholeheartedly!
I’m so lucky to have a mother-son bond with four of my amazing kids. I have the mother-daughter bond with only Kaitlyn. If you’ve been reading for a while, you know that Kaitlyn was considered a part of the family ten years before she was ever born. She brought the family full-circle and she is everything I ever imagined she’d be! Not to brag, (okay, I’m bragging) but she’s a total mini-me. I love that! Now that her and her triplet siblings are almost five-year-olds, they are starting to enjoy Holidays, parties, and all the wonder that is childhood. Kaitlyn is tough, athletic, and can certainly hold her own in our nearly all boy home. She’s also, tender, graceful, and girly! My little girl. Her brothers are going to be ghosts for Halloween but she doesn’t want to dress up like them. She wanted her own costume and didn’t want to use something we already had. She chose to be a policewoman for class pictures and said she wants to be a princess! Disney Junior has some great costumes at Walmart right now, including an adorable Doc McStuffins costume. They’re also incredibly affordable! Having five kids taught me how to live within a budget. Period. She found the cutest Sofia costume almost as soon as we entered the store. She also fell in love with a pair of Minnie Mouse slippers and started looking for a Minnie Mouse costume while she held on tightly to the Sofia one! I don’t get many opportunities to go shopping alone with Kaitlyn. It was a blast!
While we were walking around the store picking up a few more things, Kaitlyn asked to go to the toy department.
It was our date day so I wasn’t in a hurry. As soon as we got there, she found her happy place! Right there at the Disney Junior display was all things Doc McStuffins! Of course, then she wanted a Doc McStuffins costume. The costume came with an adorable headband and stethoscope, but she wanted a real doctor bag so we grabbed the Doc McStuffins doctor bag too. Of course, Kaitlyn wanted her own “mini-me,” so she asked for the Doc McStuffins doll. It was really affordable and I couldn’t resist!
It was a power shopping trip!
Of course when we came home, Kaitlyn had to try everything on.
In her Doc McStuffins costume, she looked just like the adorable Disney Junior doctor! She acted like a real doctor today. She’s had so much experience in doctor’s offices in her short life. Melt my heart.
She’s so ready for trick-or-treat!
After Halloween is over, we’ll keep the fun going with a Doc McStuffins theme party, just because! #JuniorCelebrates
A special thanks to #collectivebias for giving us the opportunity to work with one of our favorite Disney themes; Disney Junior!
