Spider-Man™: Into the Spider-Verse

Movie Night Snacks

My house is full of kids who want my attention and it isn’t always easy to give them that 1-1 time. Moms are always racing against the clock, but I try to make sure each of my five kids gets some individual attention. All of my kids love movie night and it’s usually a family event. The other day it was just my teen and I hanging out in his room.

He had already seen Spider-Man™: Into the Spider-Verse at the theatre but he really wanted me to see it, too. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask. Spider-Man into the Spider-verse won the Academy Award for the best animated feature.

Whether it’s the whole family or just he and I hanging out, I try to make it special. Of course, the days don’t always allow for elaborate preparations so this time I did something simple and delicious! If you have a teen, you already know that cereal, in general, is one of those things they love! Admit it. How many times has your teen tried to eat cereal for dinner? They all do it! He still had to eat dinner, but I figured, what about cereal for dessert? It came out so yummy!

I try to teach my kids about healthy portions as well and mini-snacks let them have more than one, which they always love. Obviously, you’ll have a lot left over to make more whenever you crave a delicious mini-snack.
