I’m just going to be honest. I’m not like those nice moms. I just cannot let my kids (the almost seven-year-old triplets) use my phone or any of my tech devices! I tried. Okay, fine. For those who know me, they’re raising an eyebrow right now. I haven’t tried in a long time. That’s the truth. The problem is, they end up dropping them, changing the settings, accessing inappropriate content, or getting no positive stimulation. I’m not selfish, though. I’ve given them their own devices. Sadly, we had the same problems! So, I took them away.
I wasn’t happy about that at all. It’s important that kids gain the technological skills necessary to keep up with the new trends in learning and even play. I don’t want my children to feel left behind socially or academically. Sadly, I have some experience with that. As tech-obsessed as I am, I failed oldest son, when it comes to technology. I didn’t prepare him to be a tech-savvy learner. I should have. Things like navigating new platforms, soliciting quality research results from search engines, or even typing up essays were standard expectations by the time he reached Middle School. We were both caught in a game of catch-up as I tried to teach him and he tried to learn, all the things he should have already known.
There had to be a solution that allows young children kids to access, explore, and learn technology without the need for a parent to oversee every single second of screen-time. Well, hello Samsung Kids, a recent National Parenting Product Award winner! Samsung Kids is a fun, educational, all-inclusive subscription service that allows children to experience their favorite characters, games and content in a controlled environment where parents can identify specific subject areas for their child to focus on and control their screen time.

I want to win because I’m tired of sharing my phone with my son!
I’m NOT the only one! I knew it!
I rarely share my phone for the same reasons. They don’t take care of it and push buttons they’re not supposed to be pushing! We did let our kids have my old iPhone to share, but they NEVER put it back on the charging station when they are done using it, and then they want to use ours when their battery is dead. Yeah…I don’t feel bad at all for not sharing mine.
I thought all the other moms shared their phones. Hmmmmm….. at least that’s what my kids tell me. Lol
This would be so perfect for my kiddos for Christmas! Or my daughter’s birthday in February! 🙂
My kids love theirs!
I would want to win 3 but thats not possible lol. The boys are gettint tablets for christmas but this would be great for my daughter.
It would! I love that I can lock them into a safe content area and just let them go! It has all the great features of a Samsung tablet so it’s great for the whole family, every age!
My kids always end up with our “old devices” which tend to die rather quickly. I love the idea of a kid-secure tablet… it’s perfect for my daughter!
You know how I feel about all the little Caitlin(s) of the world! Good luck.
My nephew is begging for tablet…
So cool to see Samsung make a kids tablet! My kids are asking for new tablets maybe I’ll get them these!
That is a sweet tablet for the kiddos. My SIL was just telling me that she wanted to get one for my niece so I need to tell her about this one.
I know just how important having a kids tablet is. I made the mistake of not buying my kids durable ones and they broke so fast!
I absolutely love that the tablet has such a durable case to it. I watched my neighbor’s tablet get cracked the other day because their kid was playing with it and did what? that’s right, they dropped it.
I love that they make a lite version! I have learned the hard way that these are the way to go! I definitely need one for my daughter!
This would be great for my nephew. He wants one soooo bad. It’s number one on his Santa list.
That’s so cute!!
It drives me absolutely bonkers when my kids take my phone or tablet because it always comes back to me completely messed up. The Samsung Kids Tab E Lite looks like the perfect solution to this problem. I think all of my girls would absolutely love it.
I’m the mean mom and don’t let my kids touch my phone. Lol
That looks like an awesome tablet for kids. Thanks for the chance to win!
Wish I would have had one of these today! Instead I let Jake have my phone and in 15 minutes he had racked up $185 in app charges from one app! I normally don’t let him use my phone and today I was reminded of why I don’t!
Oh my goodness! I hope it was easy to get refunds.
This would be great for my son, he would really love this. Most of the time when he using my phone, he has a lot of app games installed.
I think the educational apps and programs that come with the Samsung tablet are really important. STEM is such a great resource for kids!
I have 2 boys ages 7 and 2! I want to win this for them to play and use. They would love it. And I wouldn’t always be asked if they can play games on my phone.
I want to win this because my nieces and nephews could have something to do when they come visit me.
