It’s no secret that I go to Walmart, a lot. I stop by at least a few times per week, so it’s reasonable to think I could have just waited until my next trip to pick up my copy of the just released Blu-ray & DVD movie, Inside Out. YES, it’s available now and you should go to Walmart, NOW! I really couldn’t wait. My children have watched this movie TEN TIMES since we picked it up the other day. We’ve talked about it at length, before we could get a copy. They’ve been so encouraged to talk about their feelings, and of course, Riley’s feelings. This movie has been magic for my children and I wanted their family movie night to be just as magical. The triplets are most used to feelings of joy and anger. At least, they are the easiest feelings for them to recognize in themselves. So I decided to pick up a few TOMY toys while I was at the store. I got the Anger figure and a Joy figure which came with a Console! The Console even lights up with Riley’s feelings.
The Inside Out DVD is just $19.96. I decided to go with the Blu-ray. The kids love this movie so much, I decided to never leave home without it. Seriously, they loved it THAT much. For just a few dollars more, not only did I get the Blu-ray + DVD copy, but I got a special code to download the movie onto my portable devices. Best purchase of the month!
MAGIC CODE inside!
Inside Out is the movie you should never leave home without…
It’s been great to have this movie on-the-go, while we shop, wait to pick up older siblings from school, at doctor’s appointments, or anywhere that creates kid-boredom. When we watched the DVD, in less than five minutes, I created the perfect family movie night, complete with cupcakes and Inside Out popcorn bowls.
Be sure to download the SUPER EASY recipe at the bottom of this post.
The kids were very serious during the entire movie. They didn’t want to miss a single minute. They were quiet too, except during the scene with ice-skating. They all started screaming that they wanted to go ice-skating like Riley. That filled me with joy, because little did they know, they’d get the chance to do just that, the next day!
The triplets held onto their new Console toy and character figures the entire movie. They experienced all of Rileys emotions, and talked about them, too! They were able to relate to Riley. Your kids will, too. In fact, so will you. Inside Out truly is a FAMILY movie!
When the movie was over, I surprised the kids with the news that they were going ice-skating the next day. They were full of JOY!
They had a BLAST! They loved this entire week. I’m grateful to be able to take the Inside Out cast with me wherever we go.

Is this the first time your kids will be seeing the movie, or did you also watch it in the theatre?
DELICIOUS popcorn! My littles love the movie too and it really helps my youngest identify with his anger, of which he has LOTS. #client
